I read it, too, and one thing I take away from it is that I'm responsible as a mom for raising better men. Also, it's kind of serendipitous to read this just now (months after publication) because not only do I spend more time than I should reading AITA, but I just wrote and published my own article on historian Gerda Lerner that includes a brief discussion of her thoughts on patriarchy.
